Moroccan Fusion

What is Morrocan Fusion ? One of the many currents in world music, based on Morrocan tradition, and here Gnawas. The best known group is most certainly Mazagan, and we wish to Gawa Diffusion to meet the same success.


Gawa Diffusion was created 6 months ago, in Casablanca, when 8 young musicians decided to put their talents together. They staged in many festivals, concerts, and are now preparing their first album.

Date of dates' festival in Erfoud

After callling Errachidia Tourism office, this date will be known only mid-september.

.. but the moussem seems to have changed a lot ! According to the nice lady on the phone, "it is not at all the same as before. Now it's an International Dates Fair

What about the camel's race ?

After Imilchil moussem, advanced to end of August, and transformed into a festival of traditionnal music, Erfoud... Morocco goes into industrial tourism, and transforms its traditionnal avents into marketable products.

What a pity !

Of course, as soon as the date is known, we'll post it here !

Inauguration

A few days after the French version, we open the english version of our blog.

At first, we thought it could be a good idea to have just one, and make it bilingual, french and english, but finally it seemed odd, either to have french messages with an overall english page, or vice-vera.

So here is it, bland new, english... an open to you :)

We are a small team of people fascinated by and loving Morocco, the desert, Berbers, and all this wonderful civilization.

In order to better share it, we wanted to create this blog, which is more flexible than our website. When we are on the road, you can get some news, and enjoy immediatly our last discoveries. And yours will be welcomed here, just send us a mail and we'll upload them.
