New Year in the desert

3 or 5 days 4*4      bivouac      desert      Hotel
New year 2006 in the desert

Dates : Departures on 29th and 30th December 2006

Price : 2500 euros per person for the 5 days tour, 1.930 euro for the short one, for 2 people minimum (refer to our price conditions).

Key points :

  • Unknown dunes, where tours usually don't stop
  • A night with a -fast - full moon for a magical feeling
  • All music of South Morocco, Berbers and Gnawas

Aïd El Kebbir, the most important Muslim celebration, will happen at the same time as New Year, with its wonderful festive atmosphere. And the full moon will be nearly there, spreading a beautiful silvery light over the dunes, where it’s nearly as clear as in midday.

We invite you to share an exceptional New Year’s Eve, a time of dreaming, out of time, far away from the crowd, in the Beraghwa dunes, a few kilometres away from the Oasis. Around a fire-camp, you’ll enjoy a mechwoui (grilled mutton), listening to Berber music and Gnawa rhythms. And we’ll open the Champaign bottles at midnight, before taking you back to the Oasis to finish the night.

We don’t want to many people (20 to 30 people) to preserve this special moment, far away from the crowds you can find in Ouarzazate or Merzouga. You can include it in a short tour (two days, actually return trip to Ouarzazate) or in a 5 days tour, where you’ll enjoy more of the South and the desert.
