Day 1  |
Arrival and transfer in
Ouarzazate |

Arrival in Ouarzazate. We take you to the hotel. Depending
on time of arrival, a dinner is planned. |

Day 2  |
Ouarzazate - Tazzarine and Mezgarne
Oasis, via the Draa valley |
 |
We drive through the Draa
valley, where you can enjoy the palm grove. A lunch is served
in Mezgarne. Then a first walk takes you to the nearby village |

Day 3 |
Mezgarne Oasis |
 |
The day is spent on a camel tour in the desert Hamada
of Guir. Camel drivers from the nearby village take you
in Mezgarne to lead them in their village, Timganine. After
visiting it, you leave for a natural oasis, and go through rocky
landscapes, and see some dunes. After a nice picnic in the shade
of the palms, you return to Mezgarne for a mint tea before sunset. |

Day 4  |
Mezgarne Oasis - Merzouga, via Tafraout

By rocky tracks where the Paris-Dakar rally also passes, and
through the huge dried bed of the Rheris river, we reach Merzouga,
awesome dark ochre sand dunes, and first part of the Sahara,
spread over hundreds kilometres. If you want to, you can spend
the night in a bivouac in the middle of the dunes (in supplement,
please ask in advance). |

Day 5  |
Day 5 : Merzouga - Todra gorges via
Rissani – Erfoud |

We drive along the Chebbi
erg, and leave the desert via Rissani,
first Muslim city and large commercial centre. Its huge souq
takes place three times a week. We visit Rissani, then pass
by Erfoud before
reaching the Todra gorges,
where we spend the night. These steep gorges are a climbing
place well known in Morocco. |

Day 6  |
Todra gorges - Dades gorges via M'semrir |
 |
From one gorge to another, through the haut plateaus tracks.
We might encounter some Aït Hadiddou nomads, still living
between mountain and desert, their tents hung along the slopes.
Like Aït Atta, they have more and more difficulties to
stick to their way of life, but still warmly welcome you. After
M’semrir, the vertiginous road will display the landscape
from very high! |

Day 7  |
Dades gorges - Ouarzazate vie Boutaghar
and the Valley of Roses |
 |
Dades valley is
full of very interesting geological sites, especially the «
monkey paws ». Further is the rose garden, cultivated
for the perfume industry. The second week-end of May, you can
attend to the famous moussem
of the Roses. If your tour takes place during this time,
you’ll appreciate the gardens full of roses, songs and
dances, and the colourful fair. |

Ouarzazate - Departure |

We transfer you to the airport, or to another place if you
wish to continue your trip in Morocco (possible extra costs,
please consult us). |
